That article doesn’t even make sense.

However, I assume it’s not discriminatory to Asians, Indians, etc?

Math is math. That’s all it is. To see something more you must be blind.

This is certainly accurate, but probably not in the ways that they are thinking.

People have been saying standardized tests are racist for a while now. Teachers and admins look for all sorts of ways to justify terrible test scores, most of which come from black kids. The sad truth is poor test scores come from student laziness and a lack of support at home.

See. Here’s the problem: Math isn’t created. It’s discovered.

I agree with you but that does open the door to a lot of philosophical discussion.

Randall explains that “mathematics has always been the purest field of scholarship... 2 + 2 = 4 everywhere in the universe, and always will.” Nevertheless, “critical race theorists may demand that we believe that 2 + 2 = 5, because bias affects mathematics and bias must be overcome, but free minds will never assent.”

I’m so glad I live in the southeast where I’m not outnumbered by these fricking nutjobs in my day-to-day life

Math finally clicked for me in high school but I would have gladly used the "math is racist" argument before that, if would have been available. And I'm white.

Yeah I'm right with you on that one. They support Critical Race Theory which basically says whitey is born evil and that will make us come together like that'll help scores.

But has anyone notice how Indians and other Asians score the highest in math? They're minorities yet routinely kick out the highest scores. Has it ever dawned on these math geniuses that maybe a certain race isn't doing what they should be doing? What politicization is holding back some minorities while the others not just succeed but overachieve?

Guarantee the supporters of Critical Race Theory won't answer those questions nor show where Critical Race Theory ever improves anything including unity.

If i take 2 of anything and add 2 of the same thing, it will always be 4.

There is no way to explain this any other way.

Not one thing about this is race based or anything based.

It’s just simple common sense

Either by nature, nurture, or a combination of the two humans are bigoted, period full stop. If one identifiable group of people are predominately in a position of power those bigoted feelings almost always become "law" and practice. As different groups come in and out of power that pendulum swings. The problem is when new groups get a voice and power they almost always push the pendulum past the nadir and shift it the other direction. This is what we are seeing today power turns the oppressed into the oppressor. While it seems to be human nature "we" have to listen to our better angels and keep pulling the pendulum closer and closer to equilibrium. The problem is like politics, sports and most everything else people want to "win" and are not satisfied with a tie. "We" need to take a page from the Bama book and accept that kissing your sister isn't really that bad because if we don't accept it part of the time we will be kissing our brother.
