1. Gin martini (by a big margin)
2. Manhattan
3. Sazerac (Louisiana's greatest contribution to mixology)
4. Old Fashioned

TELL ME I'M WRONG!

EDITED: I'm replacing the sazerac with a mint julep.

Flip that list around and then you’re not wrong.

Old Fashioned
Manhattan
Sazerac

Hard to argue with those three.

I think I would put a Whiskey Sour 4th.

Tom Collins and Rusty Nail also in consideration.

Some old school blended scotch (like J&B or Cutty Sark) on the rocks.

Moonshine out of a Mason jar and right out the still it's clear and definitely no "woman's" drink.

Boilermaker after a night of drinking shine to get a grip on the hair of the dog. And to do it right, drink some of the beer out of the glass and just drop the shot, glass and all into the beer glass and drink it down.

Had someone call me a "less than manly" term that is also another term for a cigarette while drinking a Manhattan. Just because it's served in a cocktail glass. His tune changed once he had a sip.

Old fashioned
Sazerac

I’ll begrudgingly allow martini since it was the drink of James Bond.

But that’s it. That’s the list.

My “go-to” cocktails:

Old Fashioned
Sazerac
Manhattan
Whiskey Sour
Whatever specialty whiskey cocktail the bar I’m at is serving

I’m not really big on hard liquor outside of whiskey.
