Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for chicks to pick up with my set of wheels. I’m happily married and am a bit too old to try and pick up girls with my cool rides. I was driving one of my classic cars today and having the typical reactions as I stopped at traffic lights. I always see people checking out the car or giving a thumbs up. I don’t think I’ve ever stopped to get gas or gone somewhere without at least one person making a comment or asking me what year the car is. I started thinking about it and realized I’ve never seen a female glance closely at my cars, even when I wasn’t in them (in case it was due to my lack of sex appeal). I guess women just don’t like classic cars?

I had a GF in high school who was given a '65 Mustang convertible and she seemed to really appreciate it and understood the "classic"-ness about it.

That's all I got.

My wife couldn't care less about cars.

I guess it depends on what you mean by classic. Model-T...probably not so much. Depends on the type of car and type of chick. But yes, definitely they do.

It's not the car.

It's you.

We had a '66 Mustang convertible. It was more my wife's car than mine. She loved it.

No, I've never met a woman who has shown any interest in a bad-arse car, ever.

I'm sure some women do.

Pulled up to my regular bar last weekend and there was a 69 Camero up front that was in pristine condition.

.. Then a couple hours later I looked out the window and they had the hood popped because it was not starting This is why you don't drive those types of cars to the bar at night. I know I wouldn't be leaving that there and going home.

My SO has a restored 69 Chevelle. I think it is awesome and like when we take it out through the Quarter and everyone talks to us at stoplights. But I mean, I can't sit there and tell you the details of classic car engines.

My wife didn’t care about them until I took her to Jackson Barret back in February.
