And why are they better than their right handed counter parts?

My 5 year old is a lefty - none of my other children are. She’s very fun - but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with which hand she writes with

Heart is slightly left therefore better protected during a right handed attack/defense. The rest is Darwin

Mickey was right. Southpaws should be outlawed.

My dad had a t-shirt that said “everyone is born right handed, only the greatest can overcome it”

I always thought that’s how it worked lol

I would make sure one of my wishes to be left handed if I ever had a magic genie.

I write and swing left handed but do everything else right handed. I guess I’m a special kind of fricked up

We’re not better than our right-handed counterparts; just better at right-handed activities we’ve had to adapt to all our lives. Can openers. Scissors. Pencil sharpeners. The only advantage we have is the drive-up ATM.

I'm not sure why, maybe out of necessity but almost all left handed people show some ambidexterity, from a medium distance at throwing a baseball most can't tell if I'm left or right handed. I bat righty, dribble righty, write lefty, throw lefty.

I had an irrational hatred in grade school for how lefties wrote in their notebooks.

I have a left handed brother in law. Sucking up all the gubment cheese. He is the poster child for spoiled, entitled assholes. I hope that this is not how all lefties are.

Don't know about better but in my experiences lefties tend to be more artistic/free spirited and more ambidextrous. I'd imagine it can be tied to something brain related but that's purely a guess.

I'm ambidextrous:

Left Hand:
write
shoot long guns
bat
stir roux

Right Hand:
Throw
Shoot pistol
Bat
Golf
Flip steaks

I'm sure I'll think of more after my coffee...
