The Carbon Copy Band (out of Baton Rouge) is a favorite at Superior Grill on Government Street, they played my daughter's reception, and they can/will travel to N.O.

You can find them on FB by searching for Carbon Copy Band.

Haven't read the thread but if nobody said Nola Dukes, then there they are. Google them. You can get them in a 2pc all the way to a 12 piece band IIRC. Ridiculously good.

Snapper And The Fishsticks aren't from New Orleans but they play there a lot. Killer wedding band. They're from Lafourche Parish

They played mine as well, and we hated them. They asked for a list of songs/genres that we didn’t want to hear, and I think they just played off that list.

Crescent City Soul did our wedding and was amazing. Souled Out is also incredible.

I'm an idiot and I see the cause for confusion. I'm talking about a band to play music at the reception.

I had Louisiana spice at my wedding. Great horn section and a great time. We still get complements after 6 years about their performance. I’d highly recommend.

I listen to a lot of live music in NOLA. I'm partial to them but some of those other ones are good too. Crescent City Soul and Louisiana Spice Wiseguys.... Heard one last Saturday call the Miritones they have a good sound.

This. I’ve seen them at two friend’s weddings and they are fun with the whole experience and much cheaper.

Much cheaper really? I find that hard to believe but I'll get a quote

The lead trumpet player, Kenny Kerth, was my middle and high school band director and is one of the biggest LSU fans out there.

Not to mention, they are one of the best cover bands in NOLA. Can't go wrong with them!
