To make the playoffs.

I think I've seen this story before.

Otherwise if Clemson wins the rematch with Lawrence they're in right?

Eh if their only loss is to Clemson they could potentially still get in.

Depends on how the sec and big 10 shake out

Big xii ain’t getting in. Doubt the pac 12 will be there.

You have Bama and possibly UF from the sec. OSU. Then Clemson/ND.

Clemson doesn’t have the defense to win a NC this year..,even if they make the CFP...too many injuries on the DLine and they lost their 5Star Freshman Defensive lineman tonight.

Not necessarily.

It’s going to be

Bama
OSU
Clemson/ND

Only question is if a 1 loss UF beats Bama in SECCG

I wonder if Cincy or BYU has any chance, assuming we have undefeated Bama, OSU, and 1-loss ND and Clemson and no one else with 1 loss.

Zero chance nd doesn’t get in under that scenario

Nope. Right or wrong, They'll be behind any one loss sec/acc/Ohio St team.

Wait, so you're saying we have undefeated Bama and OSU and Clemson 1-loss and ND 1-loss to Clemson at the end of the year with Trevor Lawrence and the committee doesn't go with Clemson?

No

They pick bama, Ohio state, Clemson, and Nd

They won’t put byu or cincy in

the other problem is like texas A&M and Miami (maybe others) are probably gonna finish with 1 loss and not play in conference title games

what do you do with those teams whose losses are to bama and clemson and no one else?

Who goes if:

Clemson beats ND in rematch
OSU wins out
UF beats Bama in SECCG?

So who would be #4? If ND loses the rematch it seems it would be Bama plays ND and Clemson plays Ohio State.

So, assuming ND wins out the regular season, you're going to take another 1 loss team if ND loses to Clemson in the ACCCG? So ND gets left out for playing an extra game while the others sit at home. Those other teams aren't Bama. Only Bama gets to advance while sitting at home.
