Him having FLA and Bama at 2-3 will not happen..... there is zero way they would set up a rematch that way.

There's no parameters like there used to be - winning your Conference, being undefeated, etc.
now it’s about # of losses before wins.

Obviously if you’re undefeated in a P5 you’re 99.9% of the time in

yep. Welcome to the world of the Gump mulligan.

Clemson will only need to beat them once to win it all.

Please explain why it couldn't happen? Why does anyone think Alabama or Florida will beat each other by a higher margin than the Clemson vs Notre Dame rematch?

Notre Dame was winning 13-23 at half time. Clemson punted their first drive, fumbled for a TD, and fumbled again. That score probably has a 20-30 pt flip in the rematch.

Georgia is still a better win for Florida and Alabama > any team Ohio State plays on a short season.

This would also set up a Clemson vs Ohio State rematch and would guarantee only 1 SEC team in the championship.

If both teams win out, both teams are in. EXCEPT in the case that Florida beats Alabama in Atlanta by a close margin.

Do not see the committee making Alabama and Florida play each other back to back again after the sec championship game in that scenario.

Quality of loss counts but not strength of schedule? Are you trying to say because Notre Dame joined the ACC for a year that their overall conference quality is better than the SEC?

If Alabama goes undefeated into the SEC championship and losses there is no way they get kicked out. If Florida wins out and beats Bama then they have to be in.

If Notre Dame losses the argument should be their strength of loss vs Ohio States strength of schedule assuming a Florida win.

Either way I see a Clemson vs Ohio State rematch in the first round.

The aggies played Bama closer than the score would indicate. Those two turnovers killed A&M. They hung 450 on Bama. Mond would have needed to put 400 up himself plus not turn it over. They probably will not lose another SEC game. Bama is just that good. The only team that might be able to hang with them in the SEC is Florida.

If ND wins the ACC that’s going to make for some fine trivia 10 years down the road
