Yes, without a doubt.

I still remember when Fitz came out at the same time as the guy from USC in 2003. This was when ESPN was pushing the USC fake title garbage hard.

I remember a segment where five ESPN reporters sat around and compared Fitz at Pitt to the guy at USC (can't remember his name now bc he sucked in the NFL). All of them shite on Fitz and basically said bc he went to Pitt and not USC, this was all smoke and mirrors.

Mike Williams?

He couldn’t get off the LOS quick enough. People tried to compare him to Keyshawn Johnson but he was not as quick and agile as Keyshawn.

Mike Williams suffered the same fate as JJ Stokes, whom SF drafted in ‘95 thinking he would be the eventual replacement for Jerry Rice. Hell, old man Rice was still playing in the NFL after Stokes had to hang it up.

Rice
Moss
Fitz
Megatron
Steve Smith

are the 5 I want on my team with no regard for stats or era.

Anyone who paints by numbers with team cancers like TO and Cris Carter because they played a long time with prolific QBs is lazy as hell.

Also, Reggie Wayne was clearly better than Marvin Harrison.

People put Megatron on lists and don't put TO and I don't get it. TO is the most physically gifted WR I've ever seen. Balled out in the super bowl on a broken leg.

Rice
Moss
Owens
Fitz
Harrison

So you wouldn’t consider Babe Ruth one of the best baseball players or power hitters of all time?

Of course the athletes are different, but if someone asks “all time”, then that generally means using ones intelligence to try to compare all eras.

As another poster pointed out, Don Hutson doubles and tripled the production of his closest competion of split end/receiver.

I think you have to. He put up great numbers and the best QB he has had was Warner for ~61 games.

Larry has great pass catching ability. Might have the best hands I've seen besides Rice I think after that it comes down to stats if you are into that sort of thing.

Don Hutson is the greatest, most dominant football player of all time. His numbers look pedestrian now. But at the time, he was doubling and tripling up his contemporaries numbers. He was revolutionary. No one else is going to come close to what he accomplished..

And using this logic (which is sound IMO) Staubach is definitely underrated in the conversation of greatest QBs
