our question is similar to the analogy of executing someone before the jury hears the entire trial and renders a verdict.

Not to mention it would make LSU look guilty. Listen LSU is going to be punished if they prove anything whether or not WW is our coach.

By keeping him we are hoping for the best case scenario which is that they can't prove anything and we get away with nothing or merely a slap on the wrist.

Worst case scenario is big time sanctions and WW's presence at LSU doesn't change that so we might as well try to win as much as we can before that possibly happens.

Can we start banning these threads? They are getting old.

Because we wanted wade and this investigation has been ongoing for 3 years.

I Think our internal investigation cleared him.

Honestly I would love to see Wade go the distance with the NCAA and see if they can really sanction him on implication alone.

Because they didn’t want to lose recruits. Pretty simple

It's because Wade lawyered up and if Wade survives this he would have sued LSU for suspending him unnecessarily.

LSU needs to stand behind WW. He should remain at LSU unless he gets a show clause. Firing WW (with violations but no show clause) would be a mistake for LSU MBB in the long run.

If the NCAA had a strong case against LSU/WW, the NCAA would already have levelled charges. They don't and are using this new process to try to build a case when the NCAA infractions force could not.

Suspending him would do nothing in the eyes of the NCAA. Might as well see what happens, keep him on staff and try and win something. The NCAA is going to do what they are going to do regardless of how sorry a schools administration looks for it. So let’s get some more 5*s on campus , try and win a tournament and hope they got nothing of substance to stick on the program.

I agree with you. I don't see Wade coaching another game at LSU. He unfortunately cheats - which everyone does - but he doesn't know how to do it without getting caught. The NCAA is after him and they're going to get him. His arrogant attitude is his downfall. When you refuse to meet with your bosses and you basically show the finger to the NCAA, you won't be around very long. He isn't good for LSU's image and I'm ready to see LSU go in another direction. Tired of his crap!

Dumbest thread in a while. The OP should refrain from posting for at least a month.

Hey if they prosecute Wade, then Auburn won’t even answer their inquiries, Kansas, Arizona, and Alabama. But the word out there is if they go after one school and coach they will have to go after al of them. Look at Duke his parents got a damn house and what else. Basketball is the most corrupt of the sports by a long shot. LSU and Auburn have some of the top recruits this year 3”even with these violations out there. So we have a contract with will wade if he is found guilty, he is released automatically by LSU no salary or buy out.

Well said and exactly right, everyone is covering their own arse, if CWW is guilty?? or fired or suspended, the NCAA doesn’t care if u stood by your man or threw him in the river, it all falls on the school—- u can’t undo allegations once proven.

I am not an LSU insider but I wish this Will Wade situation wouldl fall on one side of the fence or the other. Frankly, if the basketball program is going to be punished, then get the shite done already. I am fricking tired if all of this bullshite. Either can Wade or let the man build the program without the fans having to worry if the championships are going to be vacated !

Either crap or get off the toilet NCAA. F-ck

I did get the explanation(s) I was looking for, but I shall consider self-imposed sanctions.
