The restraint the Trump Campaign/Administration showed in not using it during the trial is pretty insane (if they did have it).

Goes to the courtroom adage, "Never ask a question you don't have the answer to." The answer is they had it on December 17th. We know that because the tough-guy imbeciles filed a subpoena instead of just accepting the owner's offer to bring it in.

How much you want to bet that they won't even be able to find the laptop? If they do, the information will have been wiped.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they destroyed the evidence, honestly. The way it looks is that we would have never heard about this shite at all if the repair shop owner hadn't copied the hard drive.
He also intimated that the FBI told him to keep his mouth shut about it. I'm guessing they can't even produce the laptop now, let alone back when they should have.

I was talking this through with the little lady this morning. Could the FBI have actually sat back and watched the POTUS be impeached, while they had evidence that his request was completely well founded and appropriate?
