Baws we come together in difficult times to ask the baseball Gods to cleanse us of our sins and lift this curse from upon our house. We ask that the God of Golden Gloves finds our pittance paid and sees fit to let balls land where they may and that he might let Jose Altuve throw to the bases again. Lest their anger not be satisfied, we offer up our dear backup catcher Dustin Garneau in sacrifice.

Play ball.

Altuve: "War's over, man. The Rays dropped the big one

Spring: What? Over? Did you say 'over'? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!...

It ain't over now, 'cause when the goin' gets tough, the tough get goin'. Who's with me? Let's go! Come on!...

Springer: What the f--k happened to the Astros I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest night of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. 'Ooh, we're afraid to go with you, George, we might get in trouble.' (shouting) Well, just kiss my arse from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Kiermaier, he's a dead man! Glasnow, dead! Orozorazarenaza...

Correa: Dead! George's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now, we could fight 'em with conventional weapons. That could take years and cost millions of lives. No, in this case, I think we have to go all out. I think this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

We're just the guys to do it...LET'S DO IT!

We are in the perfect spot, if we lose... I already chalked it up as an L

if we win 8 games in a row the entire world will melt into oblivion

Win-Win situation

Brother, I'm with you.

It's kinda funny how things work out. Going into the series, almost all of us figured the Rays would win and that we were pretty happy just to get to this point.

And sure enough, the Rays are up 3-0, but damn if isn't the WAY that they have gotten their 3-0 lead that leaves a bad taste.

If they had won the games 7-2, 9-3, and 6-0, then OK. We got our arse kicked. On to Cincinnati.

But we all know that's not how it has gone down.

I'll be tuned in mainly for the curiosity of seeing how the breaks fall tonight and to see what the attitude of the fellas is. I think they are going to go out and bust their arse like they have been.

Can we also request that they leave Yuli alone now? I'm guessing Yu Darvish must have called in a favor, but Yuli has suffered enough.

What will happen will be what’s best in the end. Despite how it might seem in the current.

Yeah, the signs were everywhere from the 1st game. I called them out as such.

Team of destiny shite from the get.

Obviously, no one could have foretold it was going to be as decisively destined as what we have witnessed.

But I'll take it over a Game 5 loss like the Yankees or the start a team as good as the Dodgers are off to in their series.

Astros truly didn't deserve to tank all year and then flip a switch. Rays have been consistently good all year, and truth be told, the Dodgers are the best team.

But, it's baseball

As a baseball fan I am pretty excited for a Rays Braves WS. Two new teams, both young and exciting, and very deserving of being there. Glad this is what it looks like we will get in this season if not the Astros. Could have easily been the WS in a regular year

All I want is for them to call to the bullpen, have the stadium lights go down, play some fantastic rock anthem (like maybe Mmmmbop) and have Justin Verlander stroll out.
