Sad you can’t go riot when Biden loses?

Thanks, Mr. Jefferson. I don't think I ever said it was.

Do you want to rally the other side? You do that by taking away their voting rights for blocking a street. It's nothing but kicking the hornet's nest and then being surprised when the hornets sting you.

Well blocking a street while I’m trying to get to work or get my kids to school certainly isn’t going to get me to consider your viewpoint. At that point, you’re (not you specifically) just creating disorder.

All riots (peaceful demonstrations) are being moved to Atlanta.

Again, just because I critique one side does not mean I am for the other side. It does not mean I endorse rioting, destruction of property, or physical violence. How hard of a concept is this? All I'm saying is ratcheting up the stakes is not how these issues are going to be solved. What we need is rational debate, which both sides seem incapable of. We need to say "You're wrong, they're wrong, I'm wrong. Everyone's wrong. Now let's sit down and have some real talk without getting defensive."

But whatever. I'm just apparently a retard for trying to look at the issue from all angles.

It's wild that this doesn't even exist until now and won't ever exist in some of the worse offending cities

My bad. Missed that.

But yeah, I agree that rioting and blocking streets is not an effective way to get your point across. That also doesn't mean giving someone a felony for blocking a street is the right answer. Rioting, yeah, lock em up and give them a felony. Blocking a street? Give them a misdemeanor and make it a pain in the arse to deal with, but don't take away their voting rights.

The side committing aggravated arson, smashing store windows, looting, assaulting bystanders, and blocking streets is clearly wrong. You must be retarded to equivocate here.

Lol, this is some brainwashed bullshite.

Proud of my governor for taking a stand against the unnecessary violence that comes with riots. He does NOTHING to stop or get in the way of actual peaceful protests, which is the way it should be.

Please tell me how he's doing nothing to "fix the problems" when he's allowing peaceful protests to take place and only quelling the violent parts? You must be ate up with TDS if you can't see it...

Spike was caused by Yankees running to Florida bc their states were locked down....by design.

Also astronomical false positives.

DeSantis is the man.

I like DeSantis a lot. This is awesome legislation that is needed right now to make sure we don't have any Seattle or Portland type of shite here.

There are also enhanced penalties for out of state people who get busted doing this.

I wholeheartedly agree they are wrong. I also believe the other side is wrong. That's why nothing gets any better because everyone wants to blame someone and not look at the larger picture.

And all of that can already get someone arrested.

Right, but this bill makes the penalties much, much more severe, which is a good thing. If you burn down someone's business as part of a "protest", I would be fine giving you a 20 year prison sentence.
