11:36 minute video
Some pretty good satire but I've always known about the Tennessee/Arky fumble but I forgot about the Kansas State/TAMU fumble.

After watching that video how could there any doubt?

Ohio State was the best team in 1998.

I saw that video years ago and it still gives me a chuckle. There are a lot of things that have to happen in a season for a team to go undefeated, sometimes a bit of luck is involved. I don't think I've seen the kinda luck Tennessee enjoyed against Arkansas. The Clint Stoerner fumble is one of the biggest WTF? moments in the last 30 years of SEC football.

LSU was better than Ohio State last year.

That loss to Michigan State might have been one of the most important games in college football history. Saban credits that game for making him into the coach he is today. It was after that football game that he came up with his "Process" philosophy. The very next year he goes 9-2 and then leaves for LSU. The rest, as they say, is history.

Agreed. Cooper had some bad arse teams in the 90s. If we had a playoff then, I think he definitely wins at least one.

Can't disagree. But I'm glad it happened that way because the Sparty upset over #1 Ohio State is what put Saban on the map, without that big win and the momentum he got for next year, he probably doesn't come to LSU and who knows where college football goes from there

Agreed. That was Cooper's best team and they were absolutely stacked. They would have won a playoff that year, IMO.

Shaun King, a bona fide black man, was a very good QB despite having Tommy Bowden as a coach.

Tee Martin beat Florida. Something Peyton Manning could never do.

Did you watch that MSU vs Ohio St game? I want to say it was a close game til the end but I don’t recall 100%.

Ohio State actually dominated much of the game. They were up 24-9 before a MSU Apunt hit one of their guys in the back and MSU recovered.
Way more of a devastating loss than the 2015 loss. In 2015, Ohio State was the defending champions, they were lethargic much of the season, and MSU was a CFP team. In 1998, Ohio State hadn’t won a national title in 30 years, were firing on all cylinders as they had won all of their games by 17+ up to that point, and MSU was a 6-6 team that didn’t make a bowl game.

Why do people lose their minds about the Clint Stoerner fumble?
The DT for Tennessee BLEW the center up and the center stepped on Stoerner's foot. End of story.

It wasn't the fact that he fumbled that everyone loses their minds over. It's the way he fumbled. He tripped, used his ball hand to balance himself, and the ball remained on the ground while he continued to move backwards.

Ohio St would have beaten Tennessee by 2 TDs

We all just gonna ignore the fact that a military grade EMP costing millions was used to influence the outcome of college football?
