The destruction of the family unit in black communities has many contributing factors including mass incarceration all kinds of drug related problems particularly in the 80s and 90s.
There is a very interesting study about infants and infant bonding with parents. If babies don't bond with parents through contact and positive interaction in the first 12 months they have a very difficult time bonding the rest of their life. They don't have emotional attachments and are incapable of them. This leads to all kinds of problems.
What we are seeing now in large democrat cities is the result of a generation of nuclear families lost and the repercussions of that. There is plenty of blame to go around.

There is easier income to not allow the father to take care of the baby. If they get married they can lose food stamps, health insurance, housing, etc. The system is designed to keep low-income people poor. Whether it is intentional or not.

There are a few reasons for that.
1. “PUT THE DICK DOWN!” - Chris Rock
2. Welfare and other programs make it so that it is incentivized to NOT get married and instead have a one parent household
3. Related to 2, the relationship stability in the black community approaches that of the gay community, where lesbians will get a U haul after the 2nd date and break up just as easily.

Remember, the public is paying for those seven kids and at least two are receiving what the Medical Profession refers to as the "Goofy Check"
Kid has been told to act stupid in front of everyone so that Mom can collect a bonus from his Handicap ....Funny how some of those kids go through their entire life being normal as hell but acting "Goofy" at every opportunity.

There was some "study" that showed it doesn't even need to be a dad. Just a strong positive male role model (it was more complex than that).
I'm hoping this mess provides opportunities for people to step up.

I had black coworkers tell me about this shite, where they had a sister who was a teacher and a lot of the bullshite they dealt with were kids in “crazy checks” being told to act out in class.
It fricks those kids for life, it fricks a bunch of other kids if you can’t exile them from the classroom, and it fricks a lot of schools because teachers may eventually quit over it if it can’t be dealt with.

Shaming, on a family, community and broader societal level, is a GOOD thing. Not personally degrading someone, but creating a sense of shame with people who care about you.
