Their system traces who looks at accounts and returns. And anyone flagged as a VIP like a politician has access limited to a very few individuals.

Wicker is pointing out that the public records request was fulfilled within hours of the request which never happens. She just called out that the person that signed off on the request was related to Broome's camp and MOP is now involved as well.
She is appealing the ruling.
Says this is a case study of why good people don't run for office because you get drug through the mud.
She is PISSED at Broome. It's ugly and we still have 3 months left

She should be able to subpoena those audit trails, then.
Of course, then we will be told that the audit trails are corrupted, and the backups failed, and everyone will 100 percent believe that because LA's computer systems are a joke.

Are you suggesting someone in LDR, someone in JBE’s administration and Broome are deliberately blocking Ms Wicker from getting her records?

If she indeed has a letter from LDR saying all returns were filed and nothing is due, she SHOULD be in good shape.
Of course our supreme court just decided that the bar exam isn't necessary, so who the hell knows how this ends.

If that is the case, shouldn’t it reflect on the councilman whose residence is a street outside of his district but claims to rent an abandoned apartment with no utilities inside the district?

WBRZ pointed out that since the ruling was 3-2 in appeals court, she has a pretty good chance at getting it overturned with the full bench to be reinstated to the race.
Very strong press conference from Wicker and I am starting to really think she can win this election if the court rules in her favor. And I'm very ok with that considering the alternatives of Broome, Marcelle, and Piazza.

Why did you leave off Watson and Carter?
Wicker may have had a good presser, but not being able to produce copies of her tax returns a week after being challenged seriously raises questions about her ability to run this parish.
If she did file her returns, and it’s just dirty politics it will help her, but the longer this drags out the more I think she may not have.
