So is Kevin Warren going to threaten his marquee team like he did with Nebraska?

The reports I saw were that Ohio State voted in favor of delaying. Was that incorrect? It makes sense that Nebraska is trying to find a way to play if they were opposed to what the conference did. It doesn't make sense for Ohio State to try to play if they were in favor of the Big 10's decision.

Day is just whistling Dixie.
The higher ups have made the decision.

What else is he supposed to say at this point? If the SEC/ACC/B12 play and the B1G and PAC10-2 don't it's a giant blow against them. Recruiting will crash this year and be more difficult for them in all years going forward. This is a crucial moment and their admins fricked it up.

bullshite. They have a president that voted no to fall sports. They are done.

Day coming out is about recruiting and recruiting only. He knows the conference, OSU in particular, are about to be ravaged in terms of negative recruiting. His 2 seasons in 1 calenders year bs is obviously a stab at trying to get a leg up in recruiting. What he doesn't factor is that if a spring season is upon us, there will be no early enrollees. The recruiting calenders will be pushed back.
Doesn't mean he doesn't want to play mind you just that his qoutes are with recruiting in mind. He has no power t change anything.

Wrong, Ohio State voted to delay until the end of September.

Was it delaying to the spring (basically cancelling) or delaying the start to late September like the SEC and ACC are doing?

Ohio State has stated several times they wanted to delay and not postpone. Postponing is what happened.
I think the confusion is from the initial story of a leaked straw vote where it was claimed only Iowa and Nebraska wanted to play. Not sure if that was accurate (I think OSU donors caused a 180 before the real vote), but Ohio State has confirmed they wanted to delay like the SEC and not postpone to the Spring.
ETA: I’ll add that even though they voted correctly it’s not enough to me as an alumni and fan. OSU is the big dog in the conference and if they wanted to play they should have been screaming it louder than Nebraska. So leadership still completely failed.

Which is just as senseless as waiting until spring. Nothing is going to change in a couple of weeks.

No it isn’t. Cancellation is what is happening. The B1G will not play football in the spring.

I agree they won’t play in spring, but the official vote was a postponement (to spring) vote. They will just cancel that plan later.

Any vote to postpone until spring was a vote to cancel the season, and every single person involved knew that.

I wish Day and Harbough would hold a joint press conference saying they want to play and would entertain playing in a conference that will have them.
It would be one of the biggest power moves in College Football history. It would then put all the pressure on Warren.

I know Harbaugh probably doesn’t want to lose what little recruiting power he still has, but does the University?

Ohio State got exposed for the absolute bitches they are in the whole ordeal. They though they were so important everyone else would just fall in line and cancel. When others conferences told them to frick off they back peddled like a bitch
frick em no conference should let them in this year they got what they deserved

Cases and hospitalizations are all trending way down. A couple weeks is a good decision
