this. its cheaper than Eagle Rare, which is also good as noted.

if you want a cheap whiskey that isn't bourbon, get a bottle of Texas Ranger or Rebecca Creek.

Not much on whiskey myself but a friend of mine would go through a bottle every day of a whiskey they sold at Schweggman's years ago called "Old Piety & Burgundy", better known by locals as "Standing On The Corner".

It was cheap and he swore it was good, but then again, he was a stone alcoholic and couldn't afford the good stuff.

Irish bar near me, "Holy Ground" use to run a daily special for Happy Hour of a can of PBR and a shot of Jameson for $4.

The hipster crowd seemed to love it and they sold a lot of it during those 3 hours time.

As for me, I'm not into the brown liquors any more. I got burned out on Jack Daniels and dark rums years ago.

Monkey Shoulder is probably the best $30 bottle of scotch you can buy. IMO it tastes as smooth as bottles twice as much.

Same. I keep a bottle of eagle rare because it's cheap and guests tend to be surprised to see it
