That loop is one of the most bestest videos of wind shear of a tropical system that I can remember.

Duke- I just heard someone from NHC say up to 15 inches of rain. In the link (thanks again) that shows cumulative rain falls I am not seeing much of that. How are you feeling in general about the Morgan City area?

It's path dependant and I'd think localized 15" would be about the maximum if an area gets rain from both systems.

Just follow the general rainfall projections for now that the NHC puts out. Its difficult to answer accurately until we know where exactly Laura is going.

You serious? It hits tomorrow. Get your shite today if you need to. If I was you I'd get ready for Laura just in case too. Don't know where you're at but you should prepare for 2 storms. Marco is going to be nice evening breeze over here but Laura is the one to watch.

Duke sorry to bombard you, but how are you feeling about plaquemines parish for tomorrow?

Getting a few pregame jitters

When they’re perplexed by a feature of the storm they seem to do wacky flight patterns.

If you're on high ground down there, you should be ok. I'd expect solid TS conditions, maybe some gusts pushing 70-75.

Could be less if the storm is weaker.

Did that bitch Laura shift slightly East again? Or did I just miss it from the last update?
