Question for a weather experts. If the NHC tracks verify with two hurricanes in roughly those positions what kinda of wind could SELA expect. I would think #14 would have south the Southeast winds over us while #13 would have Northerly winds over us. Seems like a messy situation. Would that make tornadoes more likely? Just never seen anything like this so curious.

You could probably count on some strong winds with bands of rain but nothing consistent like you would have closer towards the center.

frick all of this year.
My wife is 39 weeks pregnant, and we are literally straddling two hurricanes expected to hit around her due date.
As if having our first child wasn't stressful enough, throw it in the middle of a global pandemic. Make her have to go to all appointments alone. Now, just for laughs, let's throw two hurricanes at ya!
How the frick am I going to transport all this tit milk?

Nos where do you live? We’re about 10 miles from the La coast. Not likely leaving for a cat 1

Did TD13 dissipate? It’s not even on the NHC map anymore

No, it did not.
It’s on the map.
It’s on the map.

Neither the euro or the GFS do anything with 13 now. Both have 14 hitting as a TD or weak TS.

I saw that too, right after I woke up. I was so confused for a minute. It’s back now.

I’d take nothingburger as would the rice farmers trying to get harvest done.

When the fujiwhara effect occurs, which name do they retain?

Thinking of doing that or drive over dark thirty Thursday morning. Just don't want to get into flood waters in Houston. My appointment is Thursday at 7am.

I’m perfectly fine with a nothingburger. I have a trip planned to the beach in a couple weeks I don’t need a hurricane coming in and wrecking shite

As long as both stay at Cat 1 then no use in evacuating IMO.
Nola will prob flood though bc of S&WB and Destroya

Crazy how they both will make landfall at the same exact time right alongside each other (assuming that plays out)
