Agree — except we stayed for Barry which was a one and I remember not liking the sounds of the wind that night. Said I wouldn’t stay for any future storms and here I am ready and prepped.

Yikes... both storms could be pushing a ton of water into SE La.

After 3, you’re outnumbered and you just try to keep everyone in clean clothes, fed, healthy and not to forget one anywhere.

Not sure how 13 could push water into Louisiana if it comes in to our East.

Levi

quote:

Recon is finding what may be a weakly closed center for #TD13 east of Guadeloupe. TD13 will continue having to fight shear today & tomorrow. We'll be watching closely to see how organized it can become in the face of the shear. Heavy rains are approaching the northern Leewards.

quote:

Similarly, recon is finding a weak, closed center for #TD14 just off the coastline of Honduras. TD14's struggles are to do with dry air, and today we'll be watching for enhanced convection (thunderstorms) as an indication of TD14 trying to strengthen. For now, it's still weak.

My friends with the ranch between Kerrville and Junction said it’s been horribly dry. Doesn’t bode well for hunting season.

Also TD13 center from HH is pretty far south from the 7am center, they had it at 17.9N it's below 17N.

Correct me if I am wrong but would the area in between these two storms be more prone to tornadoes? Seems like the boundary between strong southerly and northerly winds would produce extra spin.

I hope not. I’m in the middle of those two cones, toward the coast.

Normally being on the eastern side would be more prone to tonadoes, but with the other one close by with northerly winds who knows.

Bail out if you have to. Told my brother that lives in the lower part of Da Parish the same thing.

Looks like they maybe found a new center northeast of that one you mentioned.

Oh if we have to we will for sure. One son just moved to lafayette earlier this year so he doesn’t know it yet but that’s my plan if needed. It’s nice to be “close” for my husband to get to the farm ASAP after a storm.

You can see maybe the new center NE of the one they found earlier.
