I don't know why people always say this stuff. You would think. But time and time again we see these corporations/high level individual do things that are just baffling.

GM didn't buy anything. GM got a stake and will build something if something existed to be build. From $NKLA's perspective and that of it's original SPAC investors, it created value by pumping the stock so they could dump at a high price and leave you bagholders with a pile of shite.

A real example of a corporation buying into a fraud and not doing their due diligence is Walgreens investment/contract in/with Theranos.

How many folks were calling Theranos a fraud at the time?

Either way, this isn’t LVVV and it’ll pump again regardless for a profit

He was able to hit a top speed of 56 mph and rolled for approximately 2.1 miles.

I’d take anything you read from Hindenburg with a grain of salt. They’re basically hit men.

They are right a lot of the time, though. They have burned down a lot of pump and dumps that people have been in on this site, so I know people are bitter at them. They are often right, though. At least in the short term, which is all they care about. They were right about WORX and IDEX, which a lot of people pumped on this site. They are likely right about Nikola. Nikola’s CEO seemed like an immature frat boy today with his rant. I cannot imagine a CEO of a major company acting like that.

I don't like hindenburg and wouldn't mind if they all caught flesh eating bacteria.... but I think they are correct on Nikola. I've been tempted by the stock but have never been satisfied by Trevor's responses to valid charges and questions.

Couldn’t resist the insane IV in the options (270%!!!). Sold a basket of 17.5 puts expiring this Friday. So... I’m pulling for Mr. Perfect’s “trading army” to get in there and keep it above 17.495 by 9/18.

Yea, this guy Milton reeks of crook.

Today he comes out with this crazy video talking about how pissed he is and angry, and just can't believe this short story. Hes so fired up, dont worry he's got clear and defined rebuttals to everything they claim, but I CANT say anything....you guys get it right? Lawyers.

Regardless of whether any of that is absolutely true or not, he just delivers stuff like such a slimeball.

I rode from 20s to 75 and got the fk out and never looked back. Kind of laugh whenever I hear him talking again.

Trevor is basically the opposite of Elon. So, if people want to be in this stock because of TSLA they need to look for a different reason. Criticize Elon and he laughs in your face, points to the scoreboard (stock price) and just grows bigger. Criticize Trevor and he goes on a tirade and says he cannot respond immediately, but he will and when he does it will prove everyone wrong. He hasn’t proven anything.

Trevor says the stock is under valued and it loses. Elon tells everyone TSLA is overvalued at $770 a share and it straight lines to $1750 a share.

You are correct, sir. No money or GM stock is changing hands.

The deal gives GM an approximate 11% stake in Nikola. Interestingly, GM didn't pay cash or stock in this deal. Instead, the company has pledged to provide support in the manufacturing and development of Nikola's products.

Would have sold a jade lizard, but I'd have to come in too close on the short call strike to make it worthwhile. This crazy thing could break either way... even in a week's time. But at 17.5, I'm willing to suck up the risk. The Robinhooders should support/bounce it if it falls that far that fast.

Or... I could be wrong.

Did you see Cramer's review of Hindenberg's accusations on his show? Brutal. The head of technology is the CEO's brother who is a contractor in Hawaii. WOW, it went on and on. NKLA is going to get hammered Monday.

article today in Seeking Alpha. I only posted the source, summary, and conclusion. Much more in the article:

quote:

Nikola Is Collapsing Under The Pressure
Sep. 13, 2020
Simple Investment Ideas

Summary
Recent fraud allegations have placed Nikola under an intense amount of scrutiny. The details behind Nikola's GM deal raises more doubts about Nikola's technology. Nikola's long-term prospects look dim even when putting aside the growing fraud allegations.

Nikola (NKLA) is establishing itself as one of the most volatile stocks in the market. After surging nearly 40% on news of the Nikola-General Motors (GM) deal, Nikola's stock quickly plunged as a result of major fraud allegations. These fraud allegations are only compounding the growing number of issues surrounding Nikola. Even under the best of circumstances, Nikola will have an incredibly tough time competing in the clean energy transportation industry.
..............

Conclusion
Nikola is far too overvalued at its current market capitalization of $12 billion. The fraud allegations facing Nikola will only put more downward pressure on the company's stock.

Furthermore, Nikola's core technology appears to be questionable at best, especially given the details of its GM deal. Investors would be wise to avoid Nikola considering all the issues facing this company.

Disclosure: I/we have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.
