Anyone thinking it's time to jump back in? I bought in around 30 and sold around 80. Not convinced that the whole company isn't a scam as the CEO has a shady background and first vehicle delivery is still probably 2 years off.

I'm going to hold the remaining 25 shares I have (had 190 at about 22 bucks a share). I think it is going to fall even further because there is a whole lot of time between now and the time they start production in 2021. The newness and excitement is wearing off and people will grow tired of waiting for them to start producing. Once it drops back into the 30's I'll buy more.

I'm not sure what the play is here. I honestly think it'll keep dropping as the novelty continues to wear off and as Hyliion picks up more steam. I think Hyliion might be the play between the two. Check them out if you haven't.

Disclosure: I own shares of both but sold 3/4 of my position in NKLA when it pumped

I sold my remaining shares last week. I think I will buy back in around 35-40 if it gets there.

I’ve been saying I wanted to start looking at it again once it got closer to getting under 50 again

I may start to buy back in some if it finds support at 35.

A big reason it's dropping is due to the warrants being exercisable any day now. Waiting on the SEC to give the go ahead. Was supposed to be yesterday. Could be any day. People are panic selling ahead of that thinking it will plummet once the market is flooded with new shares.

That may have something to do with the price drop, but there are “only” about 24 million warrants compared to 385 million outstanding shares currently. That doesn’t seem to support a 40% drop in the last nine days (total, not business days).

Have some funds clearing up tomorrow and planned on putting them here. Interested if it takes yet another dive tomorrow or starts the recovery. I’ve been waiting for the come down since it was floating in the 70+. That balloon up to 100 after the merger seemed pretty damn wild.

What news have they had that makes you think its going to recover?

I think it’s a good long term bet. Once I get in I’ll be pretty “set it and forget it”. I think once they start production that’s going to be a big boost.

It’s finding support post market today, at least. I’m taking a wait and see approach. Too much uncertainty right now and with actual revenues so far off (1.5 years away at least), its hard to throw a large chunk at this stock. Not many bullish analyst reports starting to come out either.

Let’s see what happens the rest of the week. Personally hoping it heads closer to $30.

I would be wary of the opportunity cost of holding NKLA for a year plus waiting for actual revenues when it is unlikely that the price will advance. Buy it now or in 2022 and I doubt the outcome will differ

Nothing “finds support” post market. Way too thin to even be remotely indicative of “the market”

The play here is just a scarcity play. But it’s probably played out. Same as virgin galactic.

If your timeline is 7-10 years probably worth a flier.

NKLA should not be compared to Virgin Galactic at all. Virgin Galactic has a vehicle, proven technology, and even has contracts from NASA.

Yeah I’m gonna watch it tomorrow and see how it does. I’m definitely not “going all in” or anything.
