World’s Best Baked Beans recipe

What y’all got??? I know somebody got a 200 year old family recipe that kicks.

I don’t have a recipe but I like beans with ground meat & a little bell pepper added

Brisket drippings + Boston butt drippings + washed beans + rough chopped onions + garlic gloves + rough chopped green bell peppers in smoker for 4 hours

This is a 'single' recipe (but can be easily doubled).
1/2 lb. bacon, diced/cut up
1/2 onion, chopped
2 1-lb. cans pork & beans in tomato sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 T. chili powder
1 T. dry mustard
1 tsp. liquid smoke
3/4 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 c. honey
1/4 lb. BBQ pulled pork/brisket
Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat. Remove bacon, then sauté onion in bacon drippings until soft. Add remaining ingredients (except pork) and bring to simmer, stirring to prevent sticking to bottom of skillet. Taste and adjust for heat and/or sweetness. Return bacon to mixture and stir in pork. Transfer to baking dish and heat in oven, covered, at 325 - 350 degrees, for approximately 60 minutes or until bubbling.

Add some chopped brisket (point) and some chunks of pineapple (with some juice) and you're good to go.

Baked Beans
Ingredients
1 lb bacon, fine diced
1 lb hot breakfast sausage
2 medium onions, fine diced
2 jalapeño peppers, minced, seeds removed
4 cloves garlic, minced
4 cans(15 oz)Van Camps beans, with liquid
1 can black beans, with liquid
1 bunch green onions, minced
4 T parsley, minced
1 t each, onion and garlic powder
2 bay leaves
1/2 T dry mustard
2 T Worcestershire sauce
1T Tony’s
1 t black pepper
1 cup BBQ sauce (used KC Masterpiece)
1.5 to 2 cups Norris Best syrup (use a dark syrup)
Method
Brown the bacon, sausage, and onions in an oven proof pot. Use medium heat and cook until the onions are beginning to get a good color. Add the garlic during the last minute or two were of the sauté stage.
And all remaining ingredients and mix well. You can taste at this point to adjust seasonings, particularly the Tonys for salt.
Place in a 325 to 350° oven, either in this pot or in a baking dish. Cover the dish for the first two hours or so of cooking, then remove the cover to reduce the liquid volume a bit and develop a little more color on the beans. Total cooking time should be around three hours or so.
Mods: If you have any leftover bbq (brisket, pork butt, etc.) mince it and add to the beans as you cook.The seasoning I suggest can be modified,but don’t leave out the syrup, peppers, or meat...all are key. You can cook the beans in a smoker with your smoked meats,too, of course.

I don’t have the recipe, but the owner of Jack Miller’s told me his once.
It was beans with jack miller’s mixed in and a layer of biscuits on top, then bake in oven, I made a variation of it a few times and it was really good.

This is a must. A redneck at my job a few years ago told me to add this instead of ground beef. It changed my outlook on baked beans.

Campbell's pork and beans, brown sugar or molasses, chopped onions, green bell pepper, Worcestershire, garlic, yellow mustard, BBQ sauce, cooked bacon, black pepper, and bacon for topping after baked. Bake in open oven container at 350 F for an hour or two.
Pulled pork or brisket if you have any.

Pretty close to what I do, MD. I sometimes add chopped jalapenos and/or some chipotle.

Rough chop a couple onions and one BP and sauté in cast iron pot in butter
Add 1 cup of dark brown sugar when onions clear.
Season with your favorite bbq rub. I use meat church Holy Gospel for this.
Add beans . I use 3-4 cans of Bush’s southern pit bbq grilling beans.
Add a cup or so of Blues hog Champions blend bbq sauce.
Add 1 lb of pulled pork.
Season to taste again with bbq rub.
Heat through on stove. I then put it in the smoker under the meat for 2-3 hours at 225-250.
There won’t be any left.

That's the key right there. Best ones I ever made I decided to throw the black iron skillet on the smoker and it made all the difference.
Recipe is pretty much Bush's (pick your fav flavor)
Jimmy Dean Hot or Rouses green onion sausage (depends on my mood)
Trinity but with a little more bell pepper than normal
Worcestershire
Couple drops liquid smoke
Garlic powder
BBQ sauce (I like Big Mike's Sweet Heat)
splash of Orange juice

I have one that uses honey, brown sugar, dry white wine, black pepper and Bay leaf but it involves beans you prolly cant find and are the Best IMHO. Kroger I think caries them??
