Yeah, he looked like Mike Myers when Kanye West said George Bush doesn't care about black people.

You'd believe it if you listen to him often. He usually has pretty balanced viewpoints on these types of issues.

But Has anyone seen BLM marching over this issue?

there is a difference between what BLM started out meaning and the BLM organization agenda. a lot of people believe #BlackLivesMatter as in stopping police violence but think that the Black Lives Matter the organization has expanded into so many different things that it is disrupting the message

Well said by Wiley.

Corporations are not donating to a slogan, they are supporting a radical organization founded by three lesbians. This radical organization is anti-black male, they see heterosexual black men and white society as the problem that needs fixing. Fixing means tearing everything down and empowering them to take over

People are just paying attention more. Their demands were actually much more extensive and radical back during the Michael Brown debacle.

They have softened some of their rhetoric but their core values remain

If you told the average black American what the BLM Org advocates they would be shocked or call you a liar

Or the average white American for that matter

Most people I think are honestly just protesting or supporting the phrase itself which is a good thing

I don't think most people know about all of the trans stuff, dismantling the nuclear family, communal living etc.

I've been asked twice if I support "Black Lives Matter"?

My response has been ... do you mean the statement, or the political movement?

Both times, the questioner has lacked a response because they've given no thought to the distinction between the two.

After a pause, I tell them I believe that black lives matter, but that the political movement has nothing to do with the statement and I absolutely don't support it.

Both times, there was no comeback and I just walked away.

Just because a person agrees with those theories it doesn’t mean everything they wrote will be Marxist.

She plainly states that BLM's ideological direction is Marxism in the video below.

at the 1:12 mark - It's in response to the interviewer questioning BLM's "ideological direction".

Watch for yourself. Only 1:25 long.

It's pretty well known that black males (the group that most people think BLM is going to bat for) are probably the most homophobic demographic in the country.

The whole queer and trans stuff in their mission statement not only doesn't have anything to do with protecting black males. It spits in the face of their value system.

You have to look at the entire statement, not just half a sentence. It is saying the system is the problem

What system? The one that pays people what they're worth? You said that uneducated single mothers can't make enough to support themselves and their children. How is this a problem with the system and not a problem with the uneducated, unskilled woman that got knocked up by a shitty man that doesn't take care of his children?

Let's pretend that we pay dumb people with no skills more money. Guess what happens? We have to pay everyone with an education or skill more too. That makes the money less valuable, and causes the uneducated, unskilled single mom to end up at the bottom again. That is not the system. That is life. If single moms want to earn more money, then they need to make themselves more valuable. There is no way around that unless you want to take from those that have put in the work to be successful and give to those that have made poor life decisions.

It means two mothers, or else he would've actually said fathers.

Having studied Marxist and Soviet history I don’t see much in that statement that is Marxist. Closest would be the community mentioned in that statement. Not much different than a church community how it was written. I don’t see the collectivism that was common in Marxist theories (and Stalinism)
Wow, talk about a disconnect.

Soviet/Marxist collectivism is precisely what they are saying is foundational.

Your extremist biases are simply too pervasive in your "thought" patterns, Her have a few dozen downvotes from Americans
