I was walking from the bathroom, slipped and fell on the remote that turned on the TV, as I rolled on the floor uncontrollably, my flailing against the remote changed the channel to FS1 with Speak for Yourself on and you WOULD NOT BELIEVE what Wiley had to say.

TLDR: I got this from twitter

I’m hopeful that this call to blacklivesmatter, we start to actually hear the intentions of blacks lives matter (the organization) AND actually have questions where people have to defend their overall missions.

If not, you will eventually see the destruction and in my opinion harm to any perceived ground gained over these last couple of months.

I’d like to see a poll that doesn’t ask “do you support black lives matter” be replaced with “do you support destruction of the family, Marxism, pro LGBT rights, etc”.

We can all hope, right?

I wish Trump would tweet the mission statement of black lives matter and see people jump to defend it.

Something like “Say no to racism” would be perfectly acceptable to me, but “Black lives matter” has become about a lot more than racial equality.

It's a bit condescending to call it a rant.

I'd call it a REBUKE.

For those wondering what the statement actually says

quote:

We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe/

Statement isn’t saying to destroy the nuclear family but to change a system where single parents struggle to raise kids due to having to work double jobs to provide adequate income

I think he was wrong in his interpretation of the statement

Notice the word FATHER is nowhere in that statement.

The statement is specifically addressing single mothers. They do mention PARENTS which is a mother and father

The truth will win eventually. More and more people will discover the truth that Marcellus Wiley found.

It may take a while, but people will eventually see Black Lives Matter for what it is. People will eventually turn on identity politics.

You are just playing semantics at this point. The statement was specifically about single moms.

They also say that they support gay rights. They also mention family quite often. Entire statement is pretty much all inclusive.
