Seriously can't find stats. How many deaths from the normal flu this past season?

A. Yes the flu came thru this year. Everyone in my house had flu A in November and then the wife and one kid got flu b in January. It was rampant in our public school district.

B. The cdc does not release flu stats for a couple of years after a season. It will probably be 2022 before stats for this year are released.

C. I work in an ER. We have only seen 1 (yes 1) positive flu swab since the start of quarantine.

Got it in Feb., could barely get out of bed for 4 days. Haven’t been that miserable in years.

Got COVID 3 weeks ago, that’s been a breeze thankfully

Yes I had it. Flu A and bronchitis at the same time. Slept 40 hours over 3 days because I felt like complete death.

Skipped 18-19? Or is there a typo on the chart?

They are in the covid numbers. Just like some suicides, overdoses, a case of alcohol poisoning and some car wrecks.

Yeah, I had it back in February...didn’t get out of bed for 3 days. For anything but to piss and get more NyQuil. I literally slept for 36 hours straight.

Yes — some employees at the facility where I work had it but the residents didn’t. Go figure.

Because it takes time to actually calculate these things correctly, especially actual causes of death. That tells you what you need to know about Covid stats.

Funny how they only have an estimate with a huge range of possible flu deaths, but are able to keep an exact tracker of Covid deaths

Be weird if we find out that regular flu killed more than Chinese flu

2020 is kicking my arse.

Coworker comes to work the day his kid gets sick, gives three people in the office the flu.

Then I barely leave the house and finally go get a haircut, both of us wearing masks, and I got the COVID.

It’s all over for me I guess.
