I didn’t say you did, you must’ve mistaken someone else’s post for mine. And I’m not saying your concerns aren’t valid but look at what you just said, the “Chicago mayor”, that’s her responsibility and Emanuel’s before her. she’s throwing cops under the bus to protect herself. That’s her police force, the cops don’t run themselves, if the narrative was true when these riots started the cops would’ve been mowing people down left and right. The answer and the power to fix things is in your hands but not like this. You can’t demonize a country and race for things they haven’t done. Quit letting these people manipulate you.

I’d be happy with putting up a big Sherman statue.

Wayde wasn’t killed by a police officer. None of this is difficult to understand or respect.

So his life wasn’t worth marching for...because of who killed him? Of course the circumstances of his death weren’t the same, but aren’t blacks marching because ‘Black Lives Matter’?

But muh statues

I was at the Jefferson Davis statue (who was by far the worst person represented by a statue in New Orleans) before Mitch Landrieu had it removed. I spoke to many a black person who said that the statue had no bearing on his life.

The protesters are brainwashed and lack any real history education.

It is said that the winner of a war tells the story. However, it's never the whole truth. For example: Civil War -- there's the Northern perspective, the Southern perspective and somewhere in the middle lies the truth.

Every war is about power and money (or something to do with money) and that will never change.

I will shut up now because I don't want to turn this into the poli board.

Have a good night and

Let’s modify this and see how it works:

They were fighting over enslaving human beings. There was no “in the middle”.

It’s their right granted to them by the constitution so as long as it’s peaceful and no one gets hurt then by all means march in this humid mosquito Louisiana weather.

I don’t want LSU to turn into the shite show that’s going on at Texas right now.

In America all races and genders have had bad run ins with law and crooked courts and elected officials. I will say it seems some races and genders have more frequent run ins but then again we really don’t know what lead up to that escalation.

Does racial profiling exist. Yes. Do white people get anxious and scarred walking towards a group of young black men or when they’re in certain parts of the city. Yes. Whether it’s from experience or what they saw or were taught it happens. The same way a black person will act different in a predominately white neighborhood or area because they know either grime experience or being taught that they are being watched and profiled.

The real issues are the lesson or ideals passed on from generation to generation that leads people to have preexisting ideas or beliefs without knowing the truth.

Growing up my parents would have shite a brick had I brought a black girl or Hispanic girl home. Now they accept whoever I decide to bring home all they care about is if that person is going to treat me the way they want them to It was the way I was raised but the way I raised my kids was to be tolerant of everyone and if they decide to date or marry and black persons or another race I’ll be happy as long as they treat each other good.

It’s not the entire country it’s a certain segment of whites and blacks that keep it going to make themselves relavent and racism alive.

FYI- I think anyone cop, citizen, etc....that purposely kills another human should always answer for their crimes.

We shoukd all realize we are all human beings living on this planet and we need to learn to live in peace and harmony.

There’s also the fact that the Jefferson Davis statue - like many Confederate statues - was erected in the 1910s, about 45 years after the Civil War and smack in the midst of the Jim Crow era. I wonder why that is? Or if there are any statues of Confederate war hero James Longstreet in New Orleans?

Strange that they would say they want to protest inequality when they are against "all lives matter", which by the way you dumb f's on the left means blacks are included, not excluded!

But go ahead all you racist f's. Go support breaking people into groups. The exact opposite of what Martin Luther King believed.

Does this not apply anymore:

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."

However, when you have a very small number of bad cops and a plethora of thugs it would seem to me like that would also cause outrage in the community.
Black Lives Matter - When Political Capitol can be accrued by Race Baiting Pols (re: Al Sharpton, Jessie & many others) who are rendered irrelevant when the issue is Black on Black violence!

And in the Floyd case immediate action was taken and there was no doubt that Chauvin was in big trouble.
All 4 Officers were fired & vilified nationally b4 any investigation could even be started! Chauvin was pretty easy to see but if the other 3 Horribly RACIST Cops, 2 we’re Non-Caucasian & 1 was a Rookie w/less than a month on the job! Was he really supposed to take custody of GF from a Cop with 15+ years on the job?

That’s not hard to understand!

Im willing to bet you & 99% of every person you know (Black, White or other) have been helped or saved from further harm or violence by Law Enforcement Officers. 99.9% of which are good men/women & want to help their communities! NOT RACISTS!

But let’s all just move ahead with this BS notion, disproven BIGLY by statistics, that Black people are killed disproportionately by LEO’s in America!!

The fact you think Trump has anything to do with local policies in inner cities speaks volumes. Your ignorance is really showing and simply saying "I'm black, this is my reality" doesn't mean it's actually reality. You're just uninformed.

How long before Athletic Department requires that all non minority fans have knee pads to enter an athletic venue. Of course only the ones sanctioned by LSU and sold in the Tiger Gift Shop
