Its not really hard for a determined thief to break open the little metal cabinet a lot of dealerships store all the keys in.

Edited to add that this was most likely an inside job as someone had to know where they kept the keys

That's what I was thinking. Last few times I've been to a dealer, they got the keys out of a safe. At one place I went, the salesman had to use his thumbprint to get the key.

Do those looters not realize the depreciation of a Dodge once it leaves the lot?

Seems fishy, dealerships rarely leave keys in an unlocked car during a lawless riot.

Have you been to a dealership? these were probably easier to find than the actual car.

No problem to find. They won’t get outside 25 miles since they can’t steal gas

Live here in the Bay Area. Saw the video of this on the local news the other night. A line of cars pulls up in front of the dealership. Three or four Jabronees jump out of each car and moments later.....It's a conga line-o-cars hauling arse out of the dealership. Extremely well-coordinated. Appeared to be the same large group that started looting in Emeryville earlier in the evening and just kept hitting city after city on their way south.
