“Our source was the New York Times!”

Right and that’s always the HUGE story that day and they hammer it all day and work people up.
Then the day comes and it doesn’t happen and they don’t mention it. But people are still worked up because they remember the story from 3 weeks ago but don’t realize it turned out to be wrong.

Bingo. This is a good case study in fake news.

Same way FISA works. A lead must be true because there's news articles corroborating our evidence, nevermind that we're the ones who leaked the evidence to the news...

For reference, we've averaged 986 deaths/day the last 7 days, and 21,533 new cases/day the last 7 days.
And we will be in the 18.5k to 22.5k new case range today, and call it 1100 deaths (hopefully less).

Don't even care. If they are allowed to gather shoulder to shoulder by the thousands to protest why should we care about any restrictions

Must be the same writers who put out ESPN's pre-season Top 25 College rankings. They never write an article after the season titled: 'Hey, look how wrong we were.'

I might be wrong here but I thought this was based on some models by the CDC that were not even approved to be released.
This is why Birx said she can't believe anything that comes from the CDC.

It was, but of course the coronabros ran with it and declared it gospel.
I will update tomorrow on what the actual June 1 numbers turned out to be.
