Y’all know anybody who had the virus?

And how bad was it? A neighbor of mine had it. He is a college kid, and/so to him it was just a flu with some respiratory annoyance. Not a big deal. Cousin of a colleague died at 41. Was not obese. My social media is pretty quiet of people saying they had it. Just one dude who supposedly got sick and another relative of a FB fried died.

Yes. He lived. I know there are some on here that posted they lost loved ones from it though.

We will never know who has had it.

Wife’s cousin is an RN that tested positive. Said she had very few symptoms at all and tested negative after the 14 day quarantine. Told her she should get a ribbon for being a COVID survivor
The patient she caught it from was an older dude that had kidney failure and COVID and did unfortunately pass away.

I don’t know a single person with who has had it.
I know of one person whose grandfather died in a nursing home in NY.

A guy I know in Dallas had it. He’s 47. He said it really sucked and I think it hit him hard. I have heard stuff like that and then stuff similar to the guy you know.

A few coworkers. All survived. Oldest guy was probably 50-55

A 32 year old female died at work a couple weeks ago. Supposedly she had an autoimmune disease.

A dear friend of mine lost both her mother and father within 12 hours a few weeks back. She didn’t know how or when the contracted the virus, but it got them both. They were both older, but healthy

Only one person. She felt bad for a few days and got the positive test result after she'd recovered.

Old Manager of mine got it, spent nearly a month in the hospital (got pneumonia and had to go on dialysis because his kidneys essentially shut down). Ended up passing away Saturday.
6-5, roughly 240, only 45 years old. Had a kid who just started college :/

Yes, a good friend of mine is the director of an assisted living facility. He got it, along with several of his employees. He said he couldn't taste much but aside from that, it was very mild. He's 40 years old.

Yep. Dude felt a little rough for two days and felt good as new three days after symptoms started.

I know 5 people that tested positive. 1 of them in their mid 70’s was in the hospital for 2 months and recently transferred to a long term care facility and still requires oxygen and is unable to stand at this time. 2 of them were in their 80-90s and both passed. Both had prior health issues. 2 others are mid 60’s and had flu like symptoms for a couple of days but both recovered without a problem.

My coworker had it and was hospitalized for about a week. Shes been home for about a month and still doing breathing treatments.
A friend of mine lost her father due to complications of the virus.
Know one other person who had a very mild case.

I had it in January. Was rough, on par with the flu. Night fever, body aches, typical upper respiratory issues. Got me for a week. Covid ran wild through Tuscaloosa in January.

71 year old neighbor stayed home and rode it out. It sucked but he survived
