What brand of power tools do you roll with?

I’ve bought Milwaukee brand for the last several years. I have some m12/m18 tools. I feel like once you go with a brand these days you kinda just keep going.

DeWalt, but it sits collecting dust more than anything.

Festool and Mafell with a few Bosch. Most of my sanders are Mirka or Surfprep.
I do my best to avoid Chinese made tools as best I can.

Whatever’s on sale at Harbor Freight.

Cordless Ridgid. Everything else it just depends on the tool. Corded circular saw I go with a worm drive skilsaw. Although I have about 6 corded saws for different applications. Air nailers, I’ve got everything from dewalt, to Hitachi.

I tend to buy DeWalt. Definitely on my battery powered tools as I’m vested in the system. But also have a few wired tools from Dewalt, miter saw and sanders.

DeWalt and Hitachi mostly. As things wear out I'll try to replace with DeWalt to maintain commonality with batteries and chargers.

Ryobi.
The color is my only complaint.
ETA: Apparently its Parent Company is based out of Hong Kong. Milwaukee also has the same pc.
Will look into changing next time I need to purchase.

Dewalt, u can let the smoke out of them a couple times. Milwaukee is absolute trash. Bought the box set; because everyone was, and it was the biggest waste of money. The Milwaukee’s will just stop while using them. They have a neat pvc cutter and knockout set, but the hammer drill and impact is beyond trash. Someone finally stole my first dewalt impact and the damn thing was 10 years old working better then the Milwaukee. The ugly solid yellow one. I’m trying to switch all my main stuff back to dewalt as I went all in on Milwaukee. Best thing about the set I bought was the box, to fill back up with dewalt.
If you’re doing real work then get the dewalt. If you want the shiny new tool ornament then go with Milwaukee.(Milwaukee does have one very specific screwdriver for a very specific job and I can’t find anything better)

I'm building up my power tools collection by going on nextdoor and asking people in my area if they have any power tools they no longer want.

DeWalt for cordless. Milwaukee or Porter Cable for my corded stuff.
