Amazon has gotten really shitty with deliveries. Lazy as frick. Although I guess you’re only as good as your workers.

They've been pushing the 2-day shipping window for at least two years now. It used to be shipped the day you ordered it and arrived within two days. Now it's two-day shipping once they get around to actually shipping it.

I had no issues prior to this. Even around the holidays, things were delivered on time.
Customers ultimately hold the key to this issue. If Prime Delivery doesn't get back to normal, drop it. Amazon will make a business decision one way or the other.

How do they decide what is essential for the 2 day shipping? I'm waiting 10 days for a weed eater carburetor but get a lawn mower belt in 2 days

I think it is beyond essentials right now. I think they are just hammered with orders.

I got a garage door opener in 36 hours, but some picture frames are about 8 days out.

I’ve been waiting for Amazon to offer some kind of refund or at least suspend Prime payments throughout this. I would bet the majority of people only pay for Prime for the shipping.

I think they have probably allocated a percentage of their normal shipments to "essential items" and the remaining portion is running as normal.
If you're lucky enough that your item made it onto one of the remaining normal trucks, you get it quickly. If it doesn't, you're waiting.

You're either a horrible troll, or really dumb. Possibly both...

Maybe you'll realize you are dumb for paying for Prime, when free shipping is offered.

I pay for Prime for a lot more than just shipping.

I have an Amazon Prime Visa, and because I am a Prime Member I get 5% cash back at Amazon. I average over $100/mo cash back.

Insurance companies are doing refunds.

Prime should as well for the shitty service.

I order a microSD card cable last week and it isn't scheduled to be here until May 16th. And it was in stock.

Ordered a book that was “prime” a week ago. It says the shipping date is May 8th.

Ordered a new cassette & chain for my bike on Thursday and it’s going to be here today.

Makes no sense

I think if they tried this, Wal-Mart would leave Jeff Bezos on the side of the road gasping like a gutted trout while they deliver in two days what Amazon USED to deliver in two days.

Last order I made was a pair of pants on last Sunday, I had them Monday. Most of what we order is through subscribe and save, that has remained on time.

I had to order a new band for my Versa and the best deliver time I could find was May 15.

I ordered a couple of cables that I needed last Thursday. I got one of them Saturday and the other yesterday. Pretty shitty.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this. Before this we were actually down to 1 day shipping delivered by their careless drivers. Bezos already had the infrastructure with USPS/UPS being fallback options. We paid for 2 day, we're then told 1 day, and now ate getting 10 day...they need to toll/extend Prime memberships however long this lasts. I don't want a refund but I do want them to provide the 12 months of 2/1 day shipping that I paid for. I also want them to stop taking my money and then letting the order sit at "preparing for shipment" for a week. At some level that's got to be breaking a law by taking money knowing they will not be shipping it for awhile.

I would never pay for a music subscription service but Prime music is a great part of the membership. Our house has already run through what we wanted to watch so Prime video isn't as big of a benefit as it was pre-Corona. I suspect Bezos is trying to make Prime more of a digital content service than shopping.

AND FOR THOSE SCREAMING "THEY ALREADY HAVE FREE SHIPPING", they've up the minimum on that to $35. It was right around the time they jacked up the Prime price by $30. Bezos is a greedy pathetic liberal son of a bitch. I'll enjoy watching his ex take half.

Then he’ll only have $175 Billion.

That’ll teach him.

Rinse the sand out of your vagina. I am actually working in a Amazon fulfillment warehouse out of boredom and we are running as hard as can be, 24/7. The reason some Prime items are taking longer is due to priority given to essentials.
