The reason some Prime items are taking longer is due to priority given to essentials.

Then take off the restrictions for gloves and masks. No need to be the middle man. Until they do that the company can kiss my arse and I'll be demanding they extend my subscription at no cost by however long they keep those restrictions and priorities in place.

Should have bought the 55 gallon drum of lube. Less shipments.

I think if they tried this, Wal-Mart would leave Jeff Bezos on the side of the road gasping like a gutted trout while they deliver in two days what Amazon USED to deliver in two days.

They've been pushing the 2-day shipping window for at least two years now. It used to be shipped the day you ordered it and arrived within two days. Now it's two-day shipping once they get around to actually shipping it.

I've had zero issues before this once in a lifetime global pandemic. Why do people make this shite up?

Because your watch isn't as vital as other items Amazon sells.

Amazon should give some Prime members some money back. Not all of it. But some. People paid for a year long service from Amazon. Amazon has not held up their end of that service. They should prorate some money back to the subscribers

There's a lot more to prime membership than 2 day shipping.

Is it not part of what you paid for?

It’s no longer 2 day shipping but that $100/year is much better than paying for shipping on every item you order

Have you turned on the news lately? Cancel your subscription if you're not happy with the minor inconvenience that won't last much longer.

Some non-essential items have arrived quickly, while essential items have taken over a week. Seems like they would have that the other way. I really didn't need my hose repair kit in 72 hours, but some medications we ordered it would be nice to not wait 12 days and counting.

I ordered off of Amazon and got it in like 3 days. Stay mad, I guess.

Was there a force majeure clause in the contract? If so, Amazon should not refund a dime.

I am getting some orders in less than 24 hours even though the original estimate was 3 days. Sucks to be you.

Interesting. I’ve gone from a lot of same-day and next day delivery to 4-6 day delivery with the warehouse local. I’ve pretty much stop using amazon for most things.

The only delivery I’ve gotten in the past 2 weeks was from Amazon this morning.

Amazon has been iffy on the two day thing for quite some time before the shut down.

That said, I've found the stuff I've ordered since the shut down has been at least as fast, if not a little faster than the stuff I ordered from them before.

I also found they've been the best at delivering stuff of the different services I've tried. Wal Mart has been horrendous for this for me. First order I placed was a little more than a week in getting here, second time we tried, we couldn't find either a shipping or pick up date available. Instacart wasn't bad, but it still took a couple of days for orders.

Of course, popping into one of the local stores early when they open is still the best bet though.

Amazon: We are prioritizing orders based on necessity due to Covid-19. Your order may take 3-4 weeks for shipment

Also Amazon: Sike, your order is outside your door. Go get it bitch.

We’ve had no issues with Amazon orders recently and out of boredom we’ve ordered a lot.
