If you don't think schools should reopen in August or September, what is the triggering event that will convince you that schools are safe to reopen?

We need to keep them closed forever. It's the only way to be sure.

If we can keep one student from being raped by their female teacher it is worth keeping them home.

Hell no. In fact, I think they ought to go back a month early to review and undo the damage us parents have done home schooling them.

Nobody should die on our watch. Need to close schools until a vaccine is out and keep cars off the roads until we have self drive able cars for every American

If they would open RIGHT THIS SECOND I would bring my kids to school for the last hour of the school day right now.

Do you have any sort of employment or professional position where you are dependent upon people who do? If so, you probably should care. It's sort of a societal set-up that is pretty vital to our economy as a whole.

If the state goes the third, parents might as well just go the homeschool route
