Related to the tooth fairy thread, obviously. It made me think about what I did with the money from gifts, chores, and the like before I had any vices or women to chase.

I think I spent all of mine on CDs, video games (and rentals), and stupid prank shite.

What about y'all?

Fishing tackle. The lure aisle at wal-mart was almost as fun as the river bank

CDs mostly. Some video games, occasionally. Though, I preferred to rent video games to save money for music.

paintball gear. Not saying it wasn't fun, but an expensive phase I went through.

CDs mostly. I had this old lockbox from my grandma that I'd save my money in for "big" purchases, but my parents would usually help out and match or give me the little extra I needed once I got to a certain amount.

Banked it until I was about 12. Then I started spending some on pot and beer. I ripped off everything else I wanted.

Young kid me would spend money on toys.

Later on, baseball cards, use it at the arcade, or to sometimes pizza hut and places like that we could ride our bike to.

I made pretty good money cutting gas beginning at age 12.

Me and a few of my amigos pooled our birthday money together when we were 12 and paid the 15 year old down the street to show us her boobs. Best $50 we ever spent.

I bought a lot of the same cassettes and CDs twice. I obviously have a love and passion for music, but being raised in an evangelical home and church..

Whenever I was caught with worldly music, it was thrown away and destroyed. Being about to get away and listen to the music I loved was how I kicked back.

This was before youtube and the internet, so it was CDs and cassettes. That played a huge part in making mr who I am.

My playlists are odd though..can be like gorgoroth, bathory, burzum and then Keith Green.
