There’s absolutely no need to do that.

But the current mindset from the media is shut down all forms of leisure activity if it can stop one person from getting sick.

I doubt we’ll be in a place come fall where this thing is no longer a concern at all. I do believe we’ll be in a position with testing, treatment, and logistics that professional sports can play games with some solid planning. But playing those games would increase the spread of the disease, however minutely.

Which is dumb. We can’t live like this for years every time some new disease comes around

I wonder if part of that strategy will include games being played in front of no fans. Would suck but at least it'd be something. TV revenue would still kick in (probably go way up, actually). Not ideal, but something.

If the data suggests it’s cyclical with the seasons then I agree with him, I think they would wait until there was a vaccine.

Actually you’re wrong. It’s happening exactly how they thought it would. Per cdc.

This whole thing is overblown. It won't even make it to Louisiana.

The Billionaire owners are still making moves. Trading and signing players. They must know something, otherwise why would they continue to move money? We’ll have football this fall.

Yep. The spike is happening now because so many people were exposed to others that had no symptoms. This quarantine and social distancing happening now should flatten the curve over the next month or so. Herbie is a little premature in his comments because no one knows what this will look like by the summertime. Supposedly summer heat will kill the virus somewhat.

The coronavirus could make LSU the reigning champs for two years.

If we hit the apex in April as expected and there isn't large secondary outbreaks then I don’t see why the entire season would be canceled. Worst case the schedule is altered a bit.

Chill people and get perspective. Right Now we have tested more people than China, diagnosed many more people than China and we have had about 1/3 total number of deaths than China. We gonna kick this thing's arse!!!!!!

Kurt should stick with analyzing games, and leave analysis of real life social issues and medicine to others.
