Do you know Delta’s policy

Delta is 90 minutes.

American Changed from 120 to 60 minutes last August. I bet they regret that now.

I had 4000 worth of tickets on American for May. I watched it like a hawk. Once they moved my arrival up by 70 minutes. I canceled and requested my refund. The money was in my account in 3 days.

Delta changed by flight by 95 minutes so I should be good

Is it on their website anywhere? I want to cite it when they give me the runaround and try to voucher me.

You have to say that you do not accept the substantial change to your itinerary and you want a refund.

I have a condo in gulf shores the last week of May. Fingers are crossed the beach will be open. I can get refund if beach is closed, just playing by ear for now

Gulf Shores / Orange Beach were some of the last to close their beaches and I bet they'll be some of the first to open. I'd guess mid-May beaches will start to open

You'll probably have to do a lot of social distancing on the beach, at the amusement parks and restaurants but you should be fine.

One of the first things you should do is call in a Wal-
Mart or grocery store order a few days before you head down. Even with few tourists, the local grocery stores are taking 2-3 days to pick up orders.

Worrying about my Hawaii trip in early July

The number of cases there has been low but what if they get pissy about mainlanders coming over? Especially from Nola

Flying Delta. They’re only giving refunds/credits for April & May travel so far

Hyatt gave me a refund on non-refundable prepaid advance reservation in NYC for June.

Now to figure out the JetBlue flights. They already played with the itinerary by moving return flight up 3 hours but I don't see anything in their policy about that.

Of course all this stuff happens when I have 3 different flights booked with 3 different airlines that I never fly - I always use Delta until this year.

I didn't know about getting a refund with departure times being moved. I've got alerts set up now. They moved it up 40mins already.

Hawaii is alot like us in Alaska in that there is alot of history with disease and the native population. I expect both states will be more on the safe side of opening things up. I have said earlier that I think the second week of July will be the date, but who really knows. I don't expect it will open earlier.

What do the experts here think about the probability of a trip to Rome in mid-August?

Those traveling to California Oregon and Washington this summer:

“The West Coast is guided by science. We issued stay at home orders early to keep the public healthy. We’ll open our economies with that same guiding principals. California, Washington and Oregon will work together on a shared vision focused on health--not politics. Together--we’ll meet this moment.

BREAKING: @GavinNewsom says California, Oregon and Washington have developed a framework for reopening from the coronavirus pandemic, not just as individual states, but as a region -- California's specific plan will be released tomorrow.

I'm not sure, August is a ways away but with everything happening overseas I could see them on lock down longer than we will be in the states

I feel bad for the independent cabin/rental home owners.
a lot of these people are using vrbo and airbnb to pay their mortgages. The place I was going to stay in VA in June the owner is a musician...he’s out of work and all his bookings are canceled.

just sucks all the way around as travel options are going to shrink due to this

Would you guys dump, or at least re-schedule, a week to Playa del Carmen that was supposed to be from June 7th to June 13th? I just don't know how flying, re-staffing, food/supply chains will be by then. I think we might see some lag into that time period.

I think you’ll be fine. Check out this link on Playa del Carmen and the virus.

We're scheduled to go on Alaskan cruise on July 11th. Holland America has cancelled Alaska sailing for the duration of the season on all ships except two (EuroDam and koningsdam). We're on the EuroDam. Not sure if they'll eventually cancel those as well.

Same concerns for Alaska and Alaska airlines. They are only crediting thru May also.

Do you have the option to cancel and have your deposit refunded?

I don't think I can until mine gets officially cancelled. Also I booked thru Expedia. Not sure how that'll work with the refund process. I would assume id still be dealing with Holland.
