Officials say Louisiana's growth trajectory after the first 100 COVID-19 cases similar to that of Italy's.
It's about to get real here in Louisiana.

It’s also similar to South Korea...wonder why the officials didn’t mention them?

The only thing this dysfunctional state is good at!!
Posted on 3/22/20 at 6:14 pm to boudinman
South Korea either figured out a cure or quit testing
Posted on 3/22/20 at 6:14 pm to boudinman
Unless you know how many tests are administered every day, how is the data remotely relevant?

It’s pretty similar which is why they should’ve locked everything down a week ago.
Italy had rapid growth in one specific area of the country so they didn’t make everyone follow the rules at first. Turned out to be a dumb decision. That’s why La is taking the measures they are right now. No one wants us to be Italy. We all want this to be a giant dud.

Don't you mean Orleans Parish?

So was South Korea’s at one point.
How about this statement, LA’s growth is the same as SK’s.

God you people are idiots.
Ramped up testing doesnt mean spread and growth. It just means we are finding more that’s already out there. That doesn’t put us on any true “trajectory” because we have another variable to consider. Ffs.

JBE said that. We are also on the same trajectory as SK. He said in the next week or so we could follow SK’s path or Italy’s.

You only have to take a brief trip to political talk to see why this is so.
Posted on 3/22/20 at 6:33 pm to boudinman
I'm less concerned about total cases and more concerned with how many people die or are in critical condition.
Posted on 3/22/20 at 6:42 pm to boudinman
Isn’t it also identical to South Korea, which leveled off?
