Louisiana “Shelter in Place” TBD next 36 hours

This isn’t from a “sauce”, this is directly from a conference call I was involved in with the folks who makes these calls.
Plants, especially operators along with maintenance skeleton crews, will still report to their units at their respective plants, grocery stores will remain open.
Louisiana has done a piss poor job regarding this virus. The rest of the state will once again suffer because of the filthy motherfrickers of Orleans Parish. Oh, JBE is about as ignorant of a person I’ve met. Don’t know how he’s survived this long.
ETA: Everyone will still be able to shop and things won’t be much different than it is now other than office buildings being shut down
ETAA: title change to “shelter in place”
ETA: My intention was not to spread fear. I fall on the side of all this shite is way overblown and despite how contagious it is, it’s not a fricking death sentence. It will cause some problems for older folks and people with compromised immune systems but if you’re health at least meh, you’ll be ok.
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, which most with common sense should’ve already known.

This poster is correct. No sauce from me either. I just know.

Oh okay so it's not really a lockdown.

Rispone would’ve deported the virus whilst beating the shite out of it with a garden weasel

Again, as of now It’s going to be Jefferson & Orleans parishes only. Subject to change if the citizens don’t follow the mandates already in place, or if confirmed cases rapidly increase.

I mean the owners of the grocery stores can close but the government will come in and run them. No one is going to run out of food. The logistics of keeping grocery stores, pharmacies open are being discussed now.

So people will go to work, stores will remain open. So.....nothing will change except he’s going to make it sound that way so people proceed to lose their god damn minds. Right? Right.

Another "shelter in place" mandate. Nothing really changes from what it is now except non-essentials like hair salons, retail, and possibly all restaurants. My worry is the Guard starts controlling the grocery stores and lines get long.

Please stop. No one is going to get locked in their house. You will still be able to shop and get take out.

The logistics seem pretty straightforward. All the employees just keep doing what they're doing now.

In my experience, people on those phone calls/text/email chains generally aren't stupid enough to post about them on the OT.
Just saying.
Just saying.

No, Eddie is just trying to get more money from the Feds for his family and friends.
