How will millennials handle becoming boomers?

With all the animosity between these two generations (of which I belong to neither) I have to wonder how will millennials handle reaching the age Boomers are now? Will there be this level of hostility between them and the younger generations come behind them? How will the deal with reaching an age where their own mortality is very much a factor in their life? According to the Google the oldest millennials are just a year shy of 40 and the youngest Boomers are 56 so it won’t be too long before millennials reach boomer age.
