Are you the one who did the travel board thread with pics from Monte Carlo? Was badass to see. Much appreciated.
Yeah it was crazy. Mrs Pimp (quite fetching in her Asian elegance and pool attire) and I hung out at our rooftop hotel pool which is part of the NikkiClub one day (loaded with high end perfect 10 hookers and Russian /Saudi businessman) where a family celebrating a birthday ran up a six figure bar tab in a matter of a few hours. It was so over the top. All the men were 40-70 and all the women were 18-25. They just assume you are loaded if you are there and stare you down in front of the woman you are with . Crazy. I'm glad I experienced it, but wouldn't recommend it unless you have FU money and have seriously embraced the debauchery (not judging). I do not have the former although I am working on the latter.

Agreed. Now that I think about it, even an "overrated" part of Thailand is better than 90% of other beach destinations I have been to. Man I miss those $6 massages and $2 plates of mango sticky rice on the beach.

Asheville, North Carolina. The most overrated city in the USA by a mile.

Paris. Was dirty and the trains were sketchy to say the least. Biggest disappointment was I didn’t see many French people at all. It felt like I was in New York City. One big melting pot of different races. It was not very French and that was a huge disappointment.

Disney, Vegas, & Paris.
As for Thailand, I’d love to visit there, but being 6’3” I feel like I’d stick out like a sore thumb and be an easy target, in a country whose language I don’t speak.

Paris, London, and Rome all meet this criteria. However I do recommend everyone go to each one at least once.

Monte Carlo isn’t necessarily overrated. Expensive, sure.

Shitting on Disney and subtle height brag. Solid OT post.

St. Barts. For the money I prefer the Greek Isles.

Expensive? No.
Overrated? The cruise part, yes. The Caribbean, no.
30A has my vote all damn day.
