Seaside and 30A, by a mile.
I see enough goofy, cookie-cutter white people when I go to work every day. The last thing I want to do is be surrounded by more of them wearing pastels and riding bikes, eating at overpriced mid-tier restaurants during my time off.
If I'm spending that type of money, I'll go to South Florida. Much better food, much more fun stuff to do, better-looking people.
FWIW, my favorite vacation spot to unwind will always be Orange Beach/Perdido Key. A week in the sun sucking down cold beer at the Flora-Bama and eating raw oysters is all I want to do sometimes.

A lot of really cool towns in Europe are just overrun with tourists (especially Chinese tourists) making them hard to enjoy.
The Louvre was packed, and the Chinese tourist just pushed their way though the crowd. And we went on a day that all the kids from the local schools were there. UGH.

Paris, London, and Rome all meet this criteria. However I do recommend everyone go to each one at least once.
Been to all 3 places and loved the experience. The 1st time that I went to Paris, I was totally impressed by its architecture and dynamic. The 2nd time that I went 4 years later was meh! not impressed anymore.
London & Rome, been only once and loved it!
