re: Citiplace Baton Rouge nostalgia: Which one of the original restaurants was your favorite?

My sister worked at Grady’s and I use to eat there pretty regularly. They had a bleu cheese burger with fried onion strings that was really good.
As for Black-Eyed Pea, that was by Cortana, not Citiplace, from my recollection.

I’d throw 83-84 Georgetown in there somewhere. They made it to 3 straight NCAA Finals, which is no easy feat.

I was pretty bummed when Andre the Giant died; he was one of my childhood heroes.
Get a fry basket and put some fettucini noodles in it and hang it on the side of the pot down in the boiling goodness. The noodles will soak up all the spices and flavor. Once the noodles are cooked to desired tenderness dump them in a bowl and add a squeeze of lemon and top with some chopped green onions. Delicious.

Disney, Vegas, & Paris.
As for Thailand, I’d love to visit there, but being 6’3” I feel like I’d stick out like a sore thumb and be an easy target, in a country whose language I don’t speak.

Best king cake you had THIS season?
Posted by sabrewolf on 2/14/20 at 11:58 pm
I tried about 15 or so different cakes this year and I know you guys will think I’m crazy, but my favorite of them all was a bananas foster version from Albertsons of all places. Had real bananas in it (not that artificially flavored banana pudding crap) and a really tasty rum brown sugar glaze and the flavors paired well with the cinnamon. First runner-up would be the almond wedding cake version from Robert’s Fresh Market.

Heck they had a Shucks in BR a few years back and it didn’t last

I’ve been fortunate to have been with some great-looking women in my lifetime, and eating arse was one of my favorite things. Nothing better than a hot chick with a sweet tight arse, straight from the shower. I saw a porn back around 96 with Chasey Lain getting her arse eaten and it was a huge turn on, and I’ve loved it ever since.
I can’t believe so many people are saying Willie’s. I don’t even think they purge their crawfish. Some of the dirtiest, grittiest crawfish I’ve ever had.
My go-tos are Montalbanos, Louisiana Seafood on Coursey, and Capital City Crawfish.

My only gripe about the XFL is that I think they should’ve chosen cities that don’t have NFL teams. Would like to see Omaha get a team.

Yeah, except he said the molester is a family man with kids of his own. That doesn’t describe Sheen.
I’ve heard rumors that it was Tom Cruise, who was hanging around the set at the time Lucas was filmed.

In is own mind, maybe. Bret is a huuuuge mark for himself. He was a great technical wrestler, but not the best. Also, he wasn’t great on the mic. Always wondered why every year he’d say in his promos, “At the SummerSlam...”
