Most overrated and expensive vacation spots

I've done Fiji a few times and I have loved it. Then again, I like snorkeling and diving. The "Coral Coast" was amazing as was the Cathedral Dive at Beqa Lagoon. As for being expensive...I found Hawaii to be much more expensive.

I had the exact same impression of Vienna and Hallstatt.....

I liked Hallstatt. As for Vienna, it wasn't for me. One more thing...they can keep that dry arse chocolate cake.

Specifically, Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Ridiculous prices for what you get.

I’ve generally liked every place I’ve been. Some places weren’t the same the second time around, but that is to be expected.

My dad was disappointed with Athens.

I’ve heard negative things about London, particularly cost and crowds.

But, most of the strip is pretty expensive. I wonder if it's because only a few companies own everything.

Depends. Oahu for sure. Big Island a little less so. Kauai and Maui are worth the expense as long as $12k for 20 days with wife and teenaged kids isn’t an 1/8th or more of your net income.

Germany wouldn't be my first idea of a vacation anyways. Although it's gorgeous around here. It's so so at times.

Hawaii? I know a guy that goes to the big island with his wife that spends $3000 for airfare, 8 day Jeep and oceanfront condo .

Im not rich but that doesn’t sound too bad

Capri

Very expensive and there’s not that much to do there. If you have to go do it as a day trip and get on the bus and head up the mountain to Anacapri. It’s much less crowded and is a really nice little town.

Easily 30-A especially Seaside proper.

Ain’t no fricking way Seaside is more exciting than (pick Caribbean locale or even Europe). Seriously.

Disney, but you gotta bring the kids at least once right? I don't have to ever go back there.
