Could those of you who agree with him answer a couple of questions for me?

1. From where does this human right come? I doubt if Bernie means it comes from God since he is an atheist.

2. If you say he means the right comes from we the people, when did we the people agree on this? What is the exact date and location of the vote?

TIA

You can’t have a right to another persons labor. That’s called slavery.

Your biggest mistake is trying to apply logic to far left democratic talking points

Saying healthcare is a basic human right is easily one of the dumbest things liberals say.

It's complete nonsense. Health Care isn't provided by the Easter Bunny. Actual human beings provide health Care and if you have a right to their labor you are out of your fricking mind

This is such a dumb argument

it's just another example of how liberals look at the world and think the things that they see are just there by default.

Hence they never contemplate that their stupid ideas could actually impact the availability of the things they see

Of course it isn’t a “right”.

But it is something easily obtained by getting a job. Something which President Trumps policies has made simple to obtain.

I'd add a third and fourth question.

3. If it's a right, why does the government have to pay for it?

4. Where's my church, my printing press, and my guns that are owed to me because of the 1st and 2nd amendments?

I'll attempt to answer this as a Lefty.

"We 'Progressives' believe 'rights' and 'obligations' are one in the same".

Here's another one they should say: As Democrats, we have never stopped believing that we have a right to other people's labor.

No such thing as a basic human right. Being born guarantees you nothing. He should say access to free healthcare should be a right of every US citizen.

The line between human right and human decency is blurred here.

I am an ER nurse. Is what I do free or cheap? Nope. I do not want it to be, but as a decent human being with a skill set and equipment I could not turn people away. We are talking critical illnesses now.

Is it a human right to have the government pay for abortions or gender reassignment surgery? Because that’s what they want included in universal healthcare.
