No, but over a certain age mandatory vision (with contacts or glasses on) and possibly driving test should be implemented.

Aren't you the same fat douchebag that posted about getting punched out during a road rage incident where you were following someone too close and initiated the incident only to be punched in the face with a jelly donut for your troubles.
And now you're advocating pulling licenses from people 65 and over.
You really need to improve your troll game as they are far too obvious.

My 82 year old grandfather drove from his house to my house on Sat, which is about 20 miles / 45 min away.
Twice a week, he drives to an office to work 4-5 hours a day doing consulting.
Meanwhile, there are 70 year olds, 60 year olds, and 20 year olds that can't drive worth a crap.
Have your license renew every 6 years.
However, if you are under 25, you need to retake the driving exam and written exam at every renewal.
If you are 25 - 65, you need to retake the driving exam and written exam at every other renewal (so once every 12 years)
Starting at age 65, testing goes back to every renewal.
At age 75, it goes to a three year renewal, with testing at every renewal, AND you need to have a clearance letter from your doctor that you are in good enough physical condition to drive.

I’m 70 and hate getting stuck behind slow drivers.
The truth is that there are drivers if all ages that shouldn’t be behind the wheel.

I'll ask you when you turn 65. Idiot!

The older I get, and I'm old, I catch myself being more careful and acting though I was taught to act (legal and careful).
Then along comes some dickwad probably like you who tailgates, get's pissed at someone doing 70 to 75 in the RIGHT hand lane, and gets all hissy pissied because I am driving safe.
So, in my opinion, young drivers like you and those who live on their cell phone and those who cling to the passing lane in the interstate cause more accidents than I do.
Now my wife is another story. She probably needs to be tested and possibly taken off the road.
Stay of my motherfricking lawn you punk.

Answer is no.
However, this is going to become a bigger and bigger issue as people live longer, and more often by themselves, in suburbs where you have to drive everywhere.

Drive around the LSU area a few times and take note of all the bad drivers not paying attention & driving as if they are on a race track. And compare them to 70 yr old drivers.

If there is anyone that knows what age groups are the most responsible for accidents it’s the insurance companies. Their data, and the resulting premiums for those over age 65 dont support your assertion that this age group is a problem.

No, but yearly driving tests and stricter "point" systems should be put in place around age 70.

In a weird way, society is actually evening out it's bad drivers. A kid on his cell phone has a shittier reaction time than someone who is just elderly.
We will really be screwed when the older generation is the one used to looking at their cell phones.

OP, you know some 65 year old people drive to work every day. Hell, I know some that are in their 70's. It's just what they want to do.

One day you will be 65 instead of being young and still wet behind the ears. Your perspective will change as you age. A lot of us in our 60's drive more carefully than the 20 somethings. Out of curiosity would you say the same thing if it applied to your parents. Just curious.
