It does appear 247 broke the news. But it’s all over the internet and twitter now. It’s on three different boards on this site alone.

Looks like he interviewed this weekend.

Wiki is your friend. Had stints at pats with Josh McD. Jay Gruden at Redskins, and now at the Rams since 2017. Was PGC there in 2018 and QB Coach this year. Some college experience

Would be quite a shift from Brady to Waldron scheme wise.

You think Waldron will dictate scheme?

In the passing game yes, hence the title. What is it y’all think a passing game coordinator does? If they wanted someone to run the Saints scheme, they need to hire a guy with experience in it.

Ensminger is OC. Whomever they hire will have to mesh with him which includes his (Brady's) scheme. Maybe they put some more wrinkles in to the playbook with Waldron's plays but I don't see them hiring anyone who is requiring that they remove our current offensive playbook and replace it with theirs.

That was his title with the Rams. You think he dictated scheme there?

No

Look who he works for. They’ve been together for years, they think alike and have the same schemes. Waldron would bring McVey’s schemes with him in the passing game. If y’all think Waldron is going to take a job as PGC in college, a title he has in the NFL, and be forced to run someone else’s pass schemes I have ocean front in Kansas to sell.

I’m sure he will add some ideas and some different plays, but if you think LSU is going to change schemes after the success they just had. you’re a fool.

Also, he hasn’t been hired.

That’s assuming E is comfortable enough to coach the scheme Brady implemented. He may not be.

I don’t, which is exactly why I find this rumor far fetched.

Very very valid point. 1 season versus what he’s been running for how long?

I'm less worried about the actual scheme than maintaining that aggressiveness we had last year.

That and in game adjustments. I think the scheme is what it is.

Vol said 5 interviews were taking place. Waldron being one of them.

Expect a hire next week but I’m sure we are in no rush and will afford others the opportunity to interview.

Would be interesting. He knows the scheme obviously. Hasn’t worked in college since 05.
