My favorite spot is Land’s End park at the end of Geary. You can explore all over the coast line right there, and it has the most epic sunsets possible. If you want to get tequila drunk there’s a Mexican joint called Tommy’s, on that end of Geary as well, you need to belly up to the bar at.
Coit tower is cool if you’re on the other side of the city. The Japanese tea garden in the park is refreshing.

Do the whole trail. It's not very long and has some awesome views.
Really enjoyed going over to Sausalito as well.

To your list of food, add Burma Love / Burma Superstar, State Bird / The Progress, Delfina, Lazy Bear, Californios, Flour + Water, El Techo (if for nothing else, it has a spectacular view), Swan Oyster Depot (would recommend getting there mid-afternoon), and Deli Board (terrific sandwiches).

To me, Sausalito is pretty boring but there are some nice views back to the city. Go to the Spinnaker for a beer. It is a 1960's era seafood place with a bar that has some great views. I've never eaten there, just had drinks.

Burma Superstar
I second this recommendation. That's a really great place that's easy on the wallet.

One of the touristy things I love to do in SF is have a drink at sunset at the Cliff House, overlooking Seal Rocks.

Burma Superstar is the bomb
Also a big fan of Elephant Sushi. It's a total of about 12 seats so you have to get there right when it opens or you will be waiting.
Clement street and the Richmond is the place to go for asian food. Cool, little neighborhood generally too near ther Presidio.

Sam's (corner of columbus and broadway) great cheeseburgers.
Pier 23 - good beer and just my fave spot in the city. not sure why....
Copita's (great place to eat after a bike ride to Sausalito)
Tunnel Top (bar)
Tony Nick's (great drinks)
The sand steps at Baker Beach
also, RIP to Jack's. dollar oysters and anchor steam porter draft were a mean combo but one i miss dearly....
Also, for a random afternoon...take the ferry to Tiburon, get a bite and then ferry it back. Great way to see the bay and you can drink on the ferry.

Mama's on Washington Square for breakfast.
There will be a line around the building, but it moves fairly quickly.
