We plan on renting bikes to cross the Golden Gate and go into Sausalito

Just know that there is a lot of pedestrian traffic where you ride and it is very windy all the time. You may be very comfortable on a bike. If you aren't, that ride, though short, might be a little challenging or even scary. My daughter and I had planned on that. We hike a lot in Yosemite the day before and had tired legs so we decided not to do it. We were very glad we didn't.

Do Alcatraz. Make your reservations as soon as they open up. Alcatrazcruises.com is the official vendor. Do not buy from anyone else. It's really a must do if you've never seen it before.

HRD Coffee shop near at&t park if you like Kimchi. Great fried rice, pork chop, and kimchi burrito. If you are near the wharf on Saturday morning there is a farmers market that shows up. The pop up shop is called Roli Roti’s they make the best pork knuckle. If you get time to get out to Walnut Creek there is a tapas place I used to like to go to called Va da Vie.

Go up to Battery Spencer and Battery Wagner for the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city. That might be a bit of tough cycle ride uphill. You may want to go there by car, maybe on your way to or from Muir Woods.

Also, for me, driving Highway 1 down the coast to Monterey and Pebble Beach is an absolute must.

Isn't there a popular/must eat place in Chinatown?

City View, maybe? That + China Live and Begoni Bistro are my three favorites. Begoni, in particular, is the best example of classic Chinese in Chinatown, in my opinion.

You could work this into your Alcatraz day. Find a place to eat on the Northend or Embarcadero and then walk up the Filbert steps to Coit Tower and then down to Washington Square for a coffee or desert. You will get to really appreciate the hills of San Francisco
