Rank in order of preference, or just give a top 3.
A) andy dalton
B)Teddy Bridgewater
C)Phillip Rivers
D)Marcus Mariota
E)Jameis Winston
F)Jordan Love

1. Teddy and Taysom
Not interested in any other an on that list.
Would rather go 4-12 and get Lawrence than be saddled with any of those qb’s.

4-12 isn't getting the highest rated qb prospect since Andrew Luck. It's going to take an 0-16 or 1-15 record to win the lady boy sweepstakes

A) andy dalton No
B)Teddy Bridgewater The best win now option
C)Phillip Rivers He will likly retire also but No
D)Marcus Mariota Just someone to fill the position till a rookie can take over.
E)Jameis Winston![]()
F)Jordan Love worth a pick if he's there.

If I had to pick I’d go Winston

1. Taysom as starter
2. Back-up from the list in post

You guys are quick to shite on Taysom, but this will be his third year with the offense, he has shown great improvement in his passing during the preseason, and the team responds to him. Payton has shown he is an adaptable coach, so I would not expect Taysom to come in and run Brees' offense, but he would be put in a position to succeed.

Taysom is not an option

Stay with Bridgewater.
Find a QB in FA.
Sign Taysom to a decent deal and keep as the joker role.
Load up on defense through draft or FA.

I think Teddy has the advantage as long as Brees retired before FA starts. After that, I think Mariota would be the next one up, from this list.
I don't see the team replacing a retied QB with one on the verge or retiring, Rivers.
I have not watched Dalton play, so I would be curious to see how he would do if we went his way. He had a few good years with a shitty team, and is used to only having 1 legit reliable weapon
I'm not sure Winston has the head or accuracy for this offense. He has physical tools, just don't think he has the mental capacity.
I know nothing of Love other than a few mocks have him falling to us. I have also seen mocks talk about a potential run at QB which could jump him into the early teens.

Teddy
Rivers
Mariota
ETA. I think Winston is the best of the bunch, but I just don’t trust him to come around and fully develop.

Teddy, jordan love and Taysom. No other qb would be worth signing as a starter

You rather pay Teddy 25 mill ish starting money over a 2-3 yr commitment than riding with Taysom on a probable 1 yr RFA deal and see how he does full time?

I’d rather neither take a snap next year as the Saints QB
If you want an experimental guy, it’s Mariota
If you want to see what a guy might have for a year, it’s Dalton
If you want a short stop gap & continue on the old man QB model at a cheaper price, it’s Rivers if he doesn’t retire.
